Everybody-Art-Challenge - Challenge #37

This week at Everybody Art Challenge the theme is "Animals".
I've used my new Magnolia stamp from the Spring Kit, she's so cute, holding the quite oversized Ladybird:) I hope the ladybird fits the theme "Animals".

The Sentiment is from Stamping up, the papers from Scenic Route and Fancy Pants.

Papertake Weekly Challenge - Spots and Stripes

I've made another card with the cute Whimsy Owl from Whimsy Stamps.
In an attempt to use some different colours, I decided to make a Snow-owl out of it.
As my card was finished, I realized it fits perfectly to this weeks challenge at PWC, Spots and Stripes.

It's Friday again, and this Friday is kind of special to me! I finished my last exam yesterday, and today I'm taking a day off before I start to study for my oral exam.

It may sound strange this day feels special, but after 3 1 / 2 month of studying without a single day break, a day off is just fantastic! The card I have made for this week's challenge at Sukkersøtt was very fun to create, so great to try out some colours I don't use that much.

Just Magnolia - Week 1

Just Magnolia is a new challenge blog, and for their first challenge Donalda has made a great sketch.
I've used some of my oldest Magnolia stamps, it's one of my favourites although I don't use it that much.

The background is watermarked with the word "fairytales" and inked with some Distress Ink.
The flowers I've used, came in the post today, sent to my by me sweet little sister.

I've got mail...

Guess what I got in the mail today!!
This lovely easter-bag from Hanne, thanks you so much, honey! You made my day!
The bag looks even better than in the picture, it makes me happy just looking at it!
So now it has gotten a special place on my working desk, maybe it could give me some inspiration on those few days I got left untill the BIG exam!:)

The Sugar Bowl - Challenge 8 - Tiets Sketch #2

For the 8th challenge at The Sugar Bowl, Tiets has made the most wonderful sketch ever!

It was so amazing to work with, and I'm definitely going to use this one again!!

I love to use a lot of layers on my cards, and this time I really got the chance to do so.
I've made a card for my little sister(hope she's not reading this).
The card should be on it's way to Norway as soon as I get the gift it should be sent with.
So...anyway, if you read this, at least the gift remains a secret:)

SAV Challenge #01 - Sketch

The Design Team of Stampavie has started an official Stampavie challenge.

The first challenge is to make a card following an amazing sketch made by Diane.

This was a great opportunity for me to use one of my lovely stamps from Stampavie again!
I also tried to challenge myself using some, for me, rather untypical colours.

Here's how my card turned out.

It's Friday again....Scary how fast the time past by!

Kristine has made a great sketch for this week's challenge at Sukkersøtt.

Before I started making my card, I decided to use the flower from Prima. I know it's quite big, but I think it is so nice:) My boyfriend thinks it looks like it has mold on it, but I don't mind. I have also used one of my stamps from Gorjuss Girls, the text stamp is from Heidi Swapp, and it's embossed with white embossingpowder which I have gotten from my dear aunt:) Thank you so much!

This month we are challenged to create a springcard containing stripes. The stripes can be stamped, you could use striped decorative paper, strips or other, and it must be a minimum of 5 stripes.
I used a ribbon with 4 stripes, in addition, there are 2 stripes on the 100% loved stamp.
The papers I've used are from My Minds Eye and BasicGray, the rub-on from Norsk Stempelblad, the ribbon is from a local craftstore and I have got the the beautiful Hänglar-image from Maya:)
I tried to bring some spring into my card, painting the Hänglar-girl as a violet:)

I apologize for not beeing active in the blog world for the time beeing, but I am in the middle of my final exam-period and have little time to comment on all the great things that are made out there.
Thanks for all the nice comments you leave! It warms my stressed "exam-heart":)
