2 Sketches 4 You Top 10

Wohoooooo!!! I can't believe I got through to the next round in the 2 Sketches 4 You 1st Annual Ultimate Card Showdown!!!! It's so unreal to me!!
I feel kind of inept with all those talented cardmakers, but it's so much fun, getting the chance to make another card for this showdown!

At this moment I'm sitting between all our cardboard boxes, as we're moving back to Norway. They really don't bring me much inspiration, but I tried as hard as I could:)
Since my parents are on their way to Germany to help us move, I decided to make them a card with some goodies inside.

I tried to make the front of my card a bit symbolic with some words representing my childhood.

The bingo-cards are from Jenni Browlin, the key from Tim Holtz, the flowers from Prima and the papers from Making Memories and Graphic 45.

I got the Hänglar image from Maya, isn't she adorable? I found her perfect for my card, as she holds a key in her hand.

2 Sketches 4 You Top 20

I can't believe that I got through to the next round in the 2 Sketches 4 You 1st Annual Ultimate Card Showdown! I'm so excited!!
There are so many talented ladies chosen to compete in the next round, and I'm kind of anxious to show the card I've made. But I had a lot of fun working with the wonderful sketch made by Laura!

I decided to make a card with the theme "Fairytale", and as I made a card with rather bright colours for the last round, I chose to use some pastel-tones this time.
I've used papers from Making Memories and Prima, the crown, leaves and ribbon are from a local hobby store and the image is from Hänglar & Stänglar.
The flowers are from Petaloo and the tickets from Tim Holtz. I've made the lock out of pearls and some goldwire.

A close-up on the Hänglar-image. I find the leaves so pretty, and I think they work great with the theme "Fairytale".

These beautiful flowers are from Petaloo, and as they arrived by mail this moring, I just knew I had to use them. The lock is made by hand from goldwire and pearls.

I found this cute crown in a local hobby store, and I added some pearls to get the right princess-look.

As the theme is "Fairytale" I wanted to add some kind of effect to my card, so I made a magical tag.

The image is magically colored when you pull the tag.

And here's a picture of the other side, filled with candy and pearls.

Whimsy Lion

Almost weekend again, and I'm off to a friend of mine, who lives in one of the most beautiful cities in Germany - Hildesheim.
But before I go, I wanted to show you a card I've made with one of my new Whimsy Stamps, the Whimsy Lion. Isn't he majestic?!

I wanted to make something circus-inspired. The papers I've used are from Fancy Pants, Cosmo Cricket and the flowers were cut out from a Basic Grey Sheet. The ribbon is from a local hobby store.

2 Sketches 4 You Top 30

Wow! I'm so excited to have been chosen as one of the Top 30 from the 1st Annual Ultimate Card Showdown over at 2 Sketches 4 You!
Kazan has made a new amazing sketch for the top 30 Finalist. It was such a pleasure to work with!
Here's the sketch:

And this is how my card turned out... I've made a card for a baby-boy in pretty bright colours for a baby, but I wanted to try something new, and as I'm a fan of bright colours I gave it a go:)
I've used some papers from Making Memories and Prima, the epoxy-clip is from Making Memories, the flower is from Prima, the text-stamps are from Stampin' Up, and are punched out with Word Window Punch, also from Stampin' Up. The image, the ribbon and the tags are from Panduro.

A close-up of the cute little baby from Panduro...

A picture of the inside...
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up and the flower from Petaloo.

As I find the baby-stamp from Panduro so cute, I had to use it on the inside as well...
Another close-up...:)

For the back of the card I used another baby-stamp from Panduro, the text stamp says: Handmade by Camilla

...............

It's Friday again, time flies!
I have had vacation from exams and studying in over two weeks now, but my cardmaking hasn't been that overwhelming.

This Friday we have a sketch for the challenge at Sukkersøtt.
I have used one of the stamps from Whimsy Stamps, Whimsy Love You Mice, and one of my very yellow Prima flowers:)

1st Annual 2 Sketches 4 You ultimate card showdown

2 Sketches 4 You are celebrating their 1st year anniversary with the 1st Annual 2 Sketches 4 You Ultimate Card Showdown!
Drop by and take a look at all the fab DT-cards!! And not to mention the amazing prize for the winner! It is worth over $500!
I find this challenge blog so inspiring, as the cards made by the DT have a certain look we don't see that often here in Europe.

I've made a summer card again:) Inspired by Rimna, and the great weather we have here in Germany.

The papers are from Octopber Afternoon, the apple stamp from Magnolia, the flowers from Panduro combined with some Prima flowers and the lace from a local store.
